We have been operating on and off since 1976 and our stock is quite varied, leaning towards antiquarian and 19th century with the addition of old engravings and prints such as woodcut engravings and original illustrators artwork, we also sell maps, magazines and Ephemera - In fact, anything interesting on paper really. We have in stock every item we list. We do not use stock photographs, but photograph each item individually whenever possible. We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor FINE would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance in some cases, we would use "near fine" or similar. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully. We offer books on all subjects and do not specialise. We have sold books to some of the worlds major state libraries & universities worldwide over the past 30 years or so, and many serious private collectors. Some of these satisfied clients include The British Library & The UCLA in the USA, the National Portrait Gallery The Met in NY and many others without returns in all that time. We are happy to take enquiries about our books and will attempt to always answer any questions fully. Thank you.
