Über ecbooks
We are a small online bookseller specialisting in rare and unusual books mostly published before 1900. Our main focus is on natural history, history, science and mathematics, voyages and travel, illustrated and some literature, but we have a range of other works too. We have recently moved to the beautiful Orkney Islands and will be adding a section on Orkney and Shetland. We describe our books in some detail and take images to accompany the online descriptions. Please feel free to ask for more images or additional information to help you make a choice. We are aiming to open a bookstore in Orkney over the next year or so.

TERMS OF SALE
Payment via ABEBOOKS online services, Paypal, credit card, or direct bank transfer. Personal cheques also accepted, but books will only be sent after the cheques have cleared.
Shipping in UK will be by lowest cost 'signed for' method. Shipping to the rest of the world will be by signed for airmail or courier. Due to loss of too many packages by surface mail we will not use this method.Informationen zum Widerrufsrecht

Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on an assessment of actual costs over the preceding months. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required (we very rarely do this). If the book is small, we are happy for you to enquire about shipping at actual cost.
