Large & heavy Volume. 8vo, 25 cm x 18 cm x 9.5 cm, Green cloth-covered boards, Gilt embossed lettering on spine and front cover. 1600 pages. Weight: Approx. 2.800 Kg. (2800 Grams). CONTENTS ARE LIKE NEW!!! However, there is a crack exposing hinges between both covers and main body, the end papers and the last blank page are loose & frayed. Spine is a little soft and grubby, cloth is bubbling in places, bumped & frayed either end, gilt mostly worn away, binding remains tight! Cover is marked and worn, some bumps & scratches, gilt worn away & dull, creasing to cloth on front, large vertical indent on back, edges scuffed & worn. Corners bumped & frayed, boards exposed on 2 of them. Bottom edge darkened, few scratches & marks on all edges. Very light age tanning & occasional foxing throughout. RARE ITEM, BEAUTIFUL INSIDE!!!
