First edition. 8vo. Blue pictorial cloth, lettered in gilt, with a design printed in orange, green and cream. Top edge gilt. A near fine copy, bright and crisp, neat ownership inscription and some spotting to pastedowns. Seventy colour plates, under captioned tissue guards, and folding map to rear. One of only 2000 copies, originally published at a price of 20/-. Historical background combines with a travel guide to the area.
