Twenty-four bright, clean pages with colored illustrations in text, including a full-page color frontispiece and twelve half-page color drawings, being one for each of the months. The text pages have interesting facts for each day of the year in addition to other information that was surely useful in 1884 organized under such headings as Birthdays of the Royal Family, Public Museums and Galleries, Eclipses, 1884, Transfer Days of the Funds, Quarter and Half-Quarter Days and Post Office Regulations.
