xvi + 215 pages, a generally very nice condition copy of Chief Ebenezer Babatope's work on the ill-fated Abacha regime and the events in Nigeria in that explosive year commencing when Abacha launched his takeover in November 1993. Babatope is one of the many names included in the book as an historical character, holding the position of Hon Minister of Transport and Aviation in the Federal Government for a time. He wrote the book with difficulty, per his words in the Acknowledgements, as he was "one of the principal characters" and as he was commenting on events influenced by leaders he "had grown up to revere" but "he owe[d] posterity a duty to write" the book.
