Nineteenth, 1870; 6. Twenty-third, 1878; 7. Laws of the Territory of Utah, Twenty-Fourth, 1880; 8. Twenty-Seventh, 1886; 9. Thirtieth Session, 1892. The Sixteenth Session, 1867 is Nathan J. Harris's signed copy. Nathan J. Harris (1864-1936), early Utah lawyer and district judge, served as member of the first legislature of the State of Utah. Acts.1867-1870 is inscribed by George A. Black, Secretary Utah Territory. Black served as Acting Governor of Utah in 1871. 1892 volume includes a section (newly) banning polygamy. Utah banned polygamy as requirement of statehood.
