His reign made a significant impact on Indian history. Much on Fatehpur SIkri, which was founded by Akbar, including photographic illustrations and plans of the city. Well illustrated with a color portrait as frontispiece, 8 maps (three foldout) and 14 black and white photographic illustrations. Bright gilt titles on the spine. Very good condition, corners bumped, cover lightly worn. Corner of page 59/60 missing with no loss to text.
