First UK Edition (first printing), issued several years after the US edition. 8vo. 191pp. Green boards lettered in gold at the spine. A tiny bump to the tip of one corner, and with some toning to the lesser-quality paperstock, as is invariably the case. Very good indeed virtually fine dust wrapper (seemingly an export edition, with no price printed to the front flap). The first of the author's 'Kinsey Millhone' crime novels (in total twenty-five were issued, the final one, 'Y is for Yesterday', was published the year the author died).
