These rare issues report on Bobby Jones in his heyday, the late twenties, leading up to his glorious Grand Slam year of 1930. All six issues have an instruction article by Bobby Jones, January has swing sequence by Aubrey Boomer, passing of Eben Byers, "test of a Golf Course" by Grantland Rice. February has a cover of Walter Hagen, profile on Sea Island Golf Club and California golf. March cover is Glenna Collett, Bobby Jones' records in four majors reviewed and analyzed. April has Harry Cooper on the cover, instructional article by Alex Morrison, passing of Jerome D, Travers. May features Golf in Britain by Bernard Darwin, Horton Smith profile, Abe Mitchell article. June has an article on Walter Hagen, pictorial by Bobby Jones, Ryder Cup at Moortown, etc. Cloth binding in fine condition, original magazine covers bright, all show signs of original folding, although now lie flat after years in the binding.
