1735, 5 x 8 inches approx, main text 201 pages, preceded by frontis. folding illustration showing east view of the town with vignettes, title page, dedication page, preface by Thomas Gent, contents and explanation of frontis., and followed by index, addenda, postscript and a list of subscribers ; there are engravings of churches within the text, and a fold-out image of Holy Trinity Church ; calf binding with five raised bands; boards are badly worn and completely detached from text block; spine backstrip is badly worn and top panel is missing (title panel remains beneath - gilt has worn away to title is hard to decipher ) ; frontis and title page are separating from text block, otherwise text block is sound and square; some yellowing throughout, and text block edges are darkened | please get in touch if you would like more details.
