Written by Roy Horniman, a British writer best known for his novel Israel Rank: The Autobiography of a Criminal, which inspired several adaptations. In the original red cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine and board edges. The odd mark to the boards. Hinges starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd small handling mark. Light spotting and age toning to the first and last few pages. Contemporary ink inscription to the front pastedown. Good.
