First edition, first printing. An advance review copy with publisher's slip laid in. Original green cloth backstrip with gilt spine lettering, maroon paper covered boards. Near Fine with a light lean to the binding, light fading to covers to a thin strip along top and bottom edge, and light wear to topstain. In a Near Fine unclipped dust jacket with minor shelf wear, and a thin 2" partial slice to the top of the top of the front panel near the flap fold mended with tape on the blindside and with a corresponding mark to the board below.
