This is the true first edition in English, complete, with notes by John Bigelow. Includes an introduction, Franklin's outline of topics, the autobiography, appendix and index. Boards rubbed, chipping top of spine. No writing whatever inside, hinges solid. Includes EPHEMERA - "Franklin As A Borrower" article that appeared in a newspaper (no date), now protected in plastic.
