Printed by Adams of Rye.Interesting monograph lavishly produced in which the author provides convincing evidence that a license granted by Richard II in1386 to Sir Edward Dalyngrigge (the same year as one was granted to the same recipient to build and fortify Bodiam Castle) to divert the Kent Ditch and form Dalyngrigge's Bay thus supplying water for his mill at Peters Green and to fill the moat of the Castle; in the course of which about 15 acres of Sussex land was ceded to Kent. An item of interest to local and former residents of the area as well as students of history. Near Fine ( Patch of colour loss to laid on image typical of careless removal of a price sticker.
