Square, tight and clean throughout save a hint of off-setting to front end-paper from a laid in 1987 obituary of Starrett; now in a plastic sleeve. A touch of wear at the spine ends but barely. Equally attractive unclipped dust-jacket, ($5.95), is fresh and bright with no creases, chipping, toning or tears. Inscribed, signed and dated by the author on the front end-paper, "For John Kueha (sp), Also born in a bookshop, with friendly greetings from Vincent Starrett. 14 March, 1966".
