No names, tears or soil inside the tight, bright 317pp text save for a touch of age-toning round periphery of the illustrated green/brown endpapers. Original un-clipped dust wrapper has 3 small repaired chips at jacket head, light handling soil on front panel, great black and red on beige dj art of Holly Daggett aboard her frisky horse. When Holly Daggett went from the Buckeye ranch in Colorado to a California university as the bewildered freshman in 'College on Horseback' (C.o.H's dust jacket art by Paul Brown), it was Ginger Harris who guided her through the maze of campus social life. But in this sequel in which the girls spend the summer on the Buckeye, it is Holly who gallops in the lead through their adventures with Ginger trotting behind a bit uncomfortably but always amusingly.
