First UK edition. Publisher's red boards with gilt lettering to the spine. A very nearly fine copy (spine tips slightly bruised) in a VG+ dustwrapper that is complete but has three closed tears (2.5cm, 1cm, 0,75cm long) all on the hinges of the inner flaps which have been neatly repaired on the verso using archival tape (filmopast). N.B: basis for the1989 cult French horror film of the same name directed by Jerome Boivin and starring Lisa Delamare, Jean Mercure and Jacques Spiesser.
