The first five volumes of this periodical, edited by Charles Dickens, contain the entirety of Oliver Twist in its first printing, The bindings, in red half-leather, is quite rubbed at the hinges in four of the volumes but still quite sound. However in volume 5 the front cover and spine is detached, though present. The text throughout is generally tight and clean, but many of the illustration plates are foxed, to a varying degree, though I've seen worse, Fairly scarce collectable item that will benefit from restoration.
