First edition of the follow-up to Jacoby's Corners. Jake Falstaff was the pen name of Herman Fetzer (1899-1935), the Ohio bard who served as novelist, poet, and newspaper columnist. The illustrations and dust jacket are by David Hendrickson, the San Francisco Bay-area painter and illustrator who studied with Dean Cornwell.
