First UK Edition. Publisher's green binding with gilt lettering to the spine. Minor foxing to the top and fore-edges otherwise a bright and clean near fine copy. The dustwrapper is priced 10/6 net to the inside flap and is a VG++ example with a little, unobtrusive creasing at the tip of the spine. A former owner has stamped to the inside flap "C. J. ELPHICK/ (SECONDHAND) below which he has written in ink 21.3.70. No sunning to the dustwrapper. A very nice copy indeed. Photographs/scans available upon request.
