First edition hardback in very Good condition with a Fair clipped jacket. Red cloth boards, bumped, clean, 263 pages, bookseller stamp to fep, scattered light foxing and use marks, binding firm but slightly rolled. Jacket has a 2c by 7 cm section missing to top of the cover, large chip to lower edge of rear, chip with tear to lower front corner, minor edge scuffing and surface marks, front flap clipped across the lower edge, tape reinforcement to inner surfaces, now protected from further damage in a removable clear plastic sleeve.
