Published by Brumby and Clarke, Undated, circa 1900, presumed first edition. Large book in faded, two-tone green cloth binding with gold titles and decoration. There is wear to corners and edges etc. with a small split at top of spine. Condition of cover is generally good. The plates are of a very high quality and some have tissue guards. There is a little foxing throughout but condition of contents is overall good/very good. Following the plates are paragraphs covering the nesting, breeding habits etc of many birds with anecdotal evidence of sightings, etc from the late 1800's. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 178
