First edition of the author's uncommon first book [of which 200 copies were printed]. Small 8vo. Twenty unpaginated leaves of printed text sewn into card wrappers featuring a design by Fredrik Nyquist. The wrappers split at the natural fold and detached with a little chipping to the edges, but the text portion in fine state and the whole housed in a custom made folder. Twelve short poems (the fifth of which is a sequence of seven poems), written a few years before he became a central figure in the Parisian 'Lost Generation' movement.
