It is also the first book where Rebus is based at St Leonards police station. In a black cloth binding with original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, very smart. Some light bumping to the cloth. Dustwrapper is also very smart, with just the odd spot and some bumping to the head of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, though with some creasing to the upper inside corner throughout, and some light foxing to the endpapers and fore-edge. Very Good Indeed.
