An early, quirky mystery geared towards adults, with a twelve-year old protagonist, by the children's fantasy author. "Drawers" Random investigates the murder of a neighbor, the domineering head of an eccentric family. Orange boards bumped and rubbed with tears at the spine ends. Damp stain to the lower corner of the rear board, drip marks to the spine and front. Binding square and solid, bookplate on the front end paper.
