1st edition. 231 pages. Excellent frontispiece depicting Crosby Hall in 1736 + a few other illustrations. Printed on heavy quality paper with untrimmed edges. End papers rather browned. The content is good, clean and tight. In original burgundy buckram gilt hard cover binding with bevelled edges, corners a little worn. The boards bear some fading and a few marks but are very acceptable. The faded spine is present but parting from the front board and a little damaged at top and bottom.
