First Edition, First Printing with the words "First Edition" printed on the copyright page. This ORIGINAL dustjacket is rich in color with minor wear to the spine. This First Issue dustjacket has the publisher's $3.50 printed price present on the front flap with NO Caldecott sticker on the front panel. The book is bound in the publisher's cloth and is in excellent condition. The binding is tight with NO cocking or leaning and the boards are crisp.
