First volume with a general bibliography including topics such as religion, education, civil law, history, the sciences and the arts. The second volume focuses on works relating to America, pamphlets and manuscripts, and an index to authors and subjects. Though the pagination is not continuous between the two books, it appears that these are the only two volumes of this series. Prefatory text, tables of contents and titles in both English and French. Entry descriptions in either English or French. Library markings on title pages and stamped into the cover. Three covers and both spines missing. One remaining cover detached, rubbed, chipped.
