FIRST EDITION 1941, Russian text throughout, small 4to, 245 x 195 mm, 9¾ x 7¾ inches, blue cloth, gilt title and mounted coloured illustration of Lenin in school uniform to upper cover, title page printed red and black with small coloured portrait of Lenin aged 3, 30 pages. 5 colour plates and a coloured head- and tailpiece. Fading to cloth around the edges, slight stain to lower inner corner of upper cover, hardly noticeable, gilt on upper cover slightly tarnished, slight bump to top corner of lower cover, resulting in very light crease to upper corners of pages, staples slightly rusty otherwise contents very clean.
