First edition. Fine in lightly soiled dust jacket lightly sunned on the spine. This is the first published collection of short stories by Hart. The title story, "Contact," won second place in the O. Henry Mem'l Award Prize Contest in 1920. The following year, "Green Gardens," another story in this collection, was included in Edward J. O'Brian's volume of best short stories.
