Extra illustrated copy. 91 plates including 72 portraits of participants, a map, 16 scenes, a folding facsimile of a document, etc. All are neatly bound in with the faces of portraits flesh coloured very skillfully. Armorial bookplate of Amelia Mary Bowater. Full green leather with decorated gilt borders and spine. Gilt edges. A handsome binding if a little scuffed, with a couple of small ink marks and the remains of a small label on front. Spine sunned to brown. Worn, at corners, edges and joints, and at head and foot of spine with a small half centimeter closed tear at the head. Mild offsetting from most plates. Ow very good.
