"New impression March 1926" on verso of title page, hardcover in dark teal green cloth with spine lettered in gilt, clean tight and unmarked FINE condition with previous owner signature on ffep "Helen Hawley / April 16th 1926"; dust jacket not price-clipped and now protected in new archival plastic cover, shows light edge rubs and one small half-inch hole in spine, below the title [see photo]; a surprisingly scarce title of what was once thought to be Benson's final novel, published after his death; another was found and published somewhat later.
