Case box with two volumes: One of 20 x 13.5 cm, with text in Spanish, English and French. 88 pages thread paper. Another volume, 11 x 6.5 cm, bound in fabric. It is a facsimile containing 46 sheets with drawings and notes from Picasso's stay in Paris in 1900. It was reproduced in collotype and pochoir in the workshops of Daniel Jacomet et Cie. Of the 17 cards Picasso donated to the Picasso Museum in Barcelona in February 1970, this is the one of greatest plastic interest as Picasso's colouristic ability bursts into it. Despite the difficulty in dating the sketchbook, it was finally placed in the late 1900s, thanks to Picasso's own help. On the pages of the album captured a vision of the surrounding reality: thirty characters of different ages and sexes, belonging to different social strata. This series of drawings was made in the streets and parks of Paris. Limited, numbered edition of 1,000 copies. This is copy No 757. The case is stained and soiled with opening detached.
