Belle reliure romantique de l'époque en pleine basane estampée à froid, dos à nerfs. On trouve l'étiquette d'Alphonse Giroux qui était spécialisé dans la fabrication de ces albums pour artistes. Un volume in-8 oblong (153x245 mm), 32 feuillets (une dizaine de feuillets coupés à leur base). Carnet de croquis avec 7 dessins originaux au crayon signés par François-Alexandre PERNOT (1793-1865) et 1 en trompe l'oeil signé HAUSEN. Les six dessins de Pernot dessinés directement sur le papier de l'album sont datés de 1831, un septième contre collé est daté de 1832. D'après des extraits de son journal, Pernot parcours la France à cette époque, il passe notamment l'hiver 1831-1832 à Nancy. Pernot est proche des artistes et salons romantiques (Châteaubriand, Lamartine, V. Hugo, Delacroix.) et fut nommé en 1826, maître des dessins des pages du roi par Charles X. ___________________________________________________________________________________ ______________________________ENGLISH_DESCRIPTION : Beautiful romantic binding of the time in full stamped sheep, spine with nerves. There is the label of Alphonse Giroux who specialized in the manufacture of these albums for artists. 8vo oblong (153x245 mm), 32 leaves (some leaves have been removed). Sketchbook with 7 original pencil drawings signed by François-Alexandre PERNOT (1793-1865) and 1 trompe l'oeil signed HAUSEN. The six drawings by Pernot drawn directly on the album's paper are dated 1831, a seventh collated is dated 1832. According to extracts from his diary, Pernot traveled through France at that time, he spent in particular the winter 1831-1832 in Nancy. Pernot is close to artists and romantic salons (Châteaubriand, Lamartine, V. Hugo, Delacroix .) and was appointed in 1826, master of the drawings of the king's pages by Charles X. 415g.
