HARDCOVER, bound in contemporary quarter calf and matching pebbled cloth, spine with raised bands between gilt decorated and lettered compartments, very slightly chipped at head, gilt ruled sides, gilt tooled board edges, marbled endpapers and bookblock edges, cloth inner hinges. In a very good condition. Handsome copy, very well preserved with some faint inherited odor. ~ FIRST EDITION. [Provenance:] Previously in the collection of the British Museum with it's emblem embossed in gilt on each cover and with contemporary small emblematic and withdrawn stamps to that effect. B-3.
