Undated and unpaginated 16pp illustrated book in recognition of CP Cavafy (1863-1933) "the most erudite poet of Greek Modernism". Drypoint illustration on dark yellow/orange paper dust jacket by Guido Ardern. Repeated on title page. Three original water-colour full-page illustrations. Hand printed on laid paper at The Yew Tree Press. Delicate pale yellow fabric covered boards. Suggestion of water/damp mark to top of cloth at front and rear of book. Touch of red paint at top edge of rear cover. Over-sized yellow dust jacket has a crease to top of spine and shelf wear along top front edge. Protected with original clear glassine wraps. My particular interests are illustrated Private Press and modern Poetry. I also have a collection of Prospectuses and similar ephemera. I am careful to select only the better quality items for the Bookshop that are within my speciality and pass on those that are outside my remit. I am a former librarian and read for pleasure - as many booksellers do! I take great care of my books while they are staying at Beech Cottage and would only ask my customers that they do likewise.
