Hornby - a Tory politician himself - argued in these pamphlets that the Whigs were promoting dangerous and radical ideas that would lead to chaos and rebellion.With contemporary ink inscriptions to head of part I title page, and with the odd pencil marginal notation throughout.An exceptionally scarce insight into English politics in the early eighteenth century.
