Undated, 1906 as gift inscription states "Xmas 06" possibly earlier. Slim 4to, pp30 plus tipped in colour frontispiece with b/w illustrations throughout and 3 pages of adverts to rear. Hardcover no dust jacket. Original publishers binding of red cloth spine over paper covered boards with the front cover illustrated in good condition with some rubbing to edges and tips and top and tail of spine with some marks. Inside in fair/good condition with two pages with small pieces missing from side and bottom respectively, a few small tears to edges and generally grubby with finger marks. From 1888 onward Edward Payson (E.P Dutton,1831-1923) started working with Ernest Nister (1841-1906) which ended in 1906 on Nister's' death resulting in Dutton striking a deal with the English publishing company of J.
