Two early publications from Child's Play International, which was founded in 1972. These books are full of vibrant images and thoughtful poems, intended to encourage imagination in their readers. 'I Thought I Saw' (1992 impression) uses the die cut technique to create colourful and imaginative images, encouraging children to find magic in everyday things. For example, a cloud might look like a stallion galloping across the sky. Illustrated by British children's book author and illustrator Pam Adams (1919-2010) and Ceri Jones.'Day Dreams' (1978) uses the die cut technique to transform everyday settings into imaginative stories, such as turning a bath into the Southern seas, full of pirates.
