This uncommon, Near Fine condition, first American edition of the second novel of the author of Dark Dominion is rightly on David Madden's list of Rediscovery Books--titles that initially were critically acclaimed, subsequently lost and forgotten in the popular-culture wars, but then rediscovered as true literary gems. The brilliant, yet price-clipped dust jacket, designed by George Slater, is in Very Good condition. The jacket has a closed tear on the front and shows wear at top and bottom of the spine.
