According to the preface, the Chronicon de rebus gestis Ricardi Primi was likely written prior to 1199 by Richard of Devizes, an English chronicler and monk of St. Swithin's house at Winchester. It covers the first three years of King Richard's reign, from 1189-1192, as well as the affairs of England at the time. This edition was put together by the English Historical Society using the only two manuscripts of the original work. Additional photos available. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 2402-1-BC-5-7
