CONTENTS : Preface + twelve chapters describing a wide variety of traditional magic tricks, clearly illustrated with b/w drawings + Appendix + Glossary + Index. The unclipped dustwrapper (10s 6d) presents as largely bright and attractive, with a striking design, albeit with a circular brown stain at front, various chips and small losses at edges, fold creases worn through in places. So somewhat fragile, but well supported now with clear removable sleeve doubled at centre. A classic work, now somewhat scarce as a First Edition copy in dustwrapper. FREE P&P IN UK.
