Schacht s ability to mimic other players from the coaching lines, and his comedy routines with Altrock, earned him the nickname of "The Clown Prince of Baseball." Schacht would often show up in his battered top hat and ragged tails, blowing mightily on a tuba or wearing an enormous glove.
