First edition. Inscribed by Coward, "For Victor with love Noel (identified on the e/paper by a previous owner as Victor Stiebel). Edges darkened, spine faded with crease down the centre, o/w very good in a very good dustwrapper with darkening along spine, a 1.5" tear in rear panel, and light chipping to extremities. Victor Steibel (1907 1976) was a South African-born British couturier and founding member of the Incorporated Society of London Fashion Designers.
