Last Ditch, 1977. Featuring Alleyn's son, Ricky, in a central role tackling drug smuggling in the Channel Islands. Grave Mistake, 1978. Set in a fictional village near Kent, England, a supposed suicide of a wealthy widow in a chic rest spa involves a rare and famous postage stamp. Photo-Finish, 1980. Alleyn and his wife are invited to the luxury home of millionaire Montague V. Reece and his mistress, international opera star, Isabella Sommita. Alleyn's commission is to investigate and stop the activities of a masked paparazzo who has been persecuting Sommita with unauthorised and unflattering photographs. Light Thickens, 1982. Detective Roderick Alleyn is back for the final time, here to investigate the murder of the lead actor in a production of Macbeth. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, very smart with minor wear to the extremities. Original dust wrappers are price-clipped other than Grave Mistake and Photo-Finish which remain unclipped.
