[Colophon]: "Part V of The Colophon A Book Collector's Quarterly Completed in the Month of March 1931 for distribution to Three Thousand Subscribers." 8 ½ in. x 10 ¾ in., unpaginated; [90] pp., printed by various printers, on different types of paper, using various typefaces, illustrations, etc. With a two-color (green & black), dry-point etching of a hilltop scene with fir-trees, tree trunks, artist's brushes and bottles; signed in pencil under the plate mark by Canadian artist, David B. Milne (this plate only has the pencil signature under the image, it does not have the artist's name anywhere within the image); and two, color illustrations by Rudolph Ruzicka (one is of the Grolier Club in New York), and other types of illustrations, reproductions of woodcuts, etc. With the printed, 4 ½ in. x 9 5/8 in. flyer featuring a reproduction of a woodcut portrait of the artist Pascin, by Emil Ganso: this advertises the Exhibition of Portraits of Artists, Second Series, held by Pynson Printers through March, 1931. Color-printed, paper-covered boards with designs by W. A. Dwiggins on the spine and front cover. Ends of the spine, and outer cover edges show some light, age-related tanning, bump to the lower spine end, dusting to outer back cover; some small scattered brown spots to the top and fore-edge of the book, with a few tiny spots along the top & fore-edge and in the upper margin of the Milne print. The volume is in overall fine conditio. Scan shows the front cover. Publisher's statement: "Articles are listed in order of placement. The making of signatures by various presses at different times and places prevents folio pagination.
