This is a Very Good Copy of this in Publisher's beige coloured cloth with green and gilt title lettering to both spine and upper cover with it's rare Dust-Jacket still present and graded only 'Good' The wrapper has several small chips and closed tears to the extremities,with loss to the top edge of the rear cover.There are a couple of tape repaired closed tears to the bottom edge of spine and bottom edge of the rear cover.Price clipped.There is just one neat previous owner name to the front endpaper.Profusely illustrated with 18 b&w plates and a further 8 plates that feature Circuit Plans of some Famous Tracks.This is a comprehensive book on the most exciting aspects of the sport,with a stunning coloured frontispiece and complete with some 32 plates.This copy was acquired from the Private Library of Paul Adorian a keen Motor Racing Enthusiast,and well respected businessman and entrepreneur who held senior roles with many large companies and was a serious collector of Old and working Fire Engines.The book has a firm binding with no hinge weakness.There is some foxing present along the fore-edge of the book.Scarce title especially with it's original dust-wrapper present.8vo 333pp First Edition 1st Impression [1933].
