This is a specially bound collection of all the Communications Of The ACM periodical printed in 1973, January to December. 786 pages. It was Bound at the time. Amazing condition given the age of these periodical journals or magazines. If there were outside covers they don't seem to be included and it is unknown if these copies have been bound from the periodicals or newly printed direct from ACM. The original owner was a professor of computer science at Birkbeck College, London and he commissioned the binding of the CACM's into books, including his own initials PJHK (Prof. Peter King) in gold leaf on the spine. The pages have only been referenced or sifted through rather than read, and all the pages are in place and in tact.
