Styron's controversial fourth novel won the Pulitzer Prize. This is a Near Fine copy of the First English Edition (less common than the American). Very nicely published in a brown cloth binding with gilt lettering. Clean text; 429 pages. Just hints of bumping; faded red topstain, and a neatly-done previous-owner signature on theFFEP; else a Fine copy.
